Navigating the Illinois Roofing License Application Process

Roofing Business: If you wish to legally perform roofing business in Illinois, then it’s mandatory to obtain a roofing license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR). The requirements applicable to the particular vacancy include submission of necessary documents, completion of a special form, as well as passing the necessary exam. Complete the Application Form

After getting the above documents, you can then fill the Roofing Contractor license on the IDFPR website. Some of the sections in the form include your address, insurance and/or bonding proofs, education background, and your experience in roofing.

Make sure you complete each section and make sure that all information given is correct. After the Roofing test, congratulations! Once you complete the IDFPR licensing examination, your official Illinois Roofing License number will be issued to you.
